Support for the IALE World congress
There are limited funds available to support participation in
the congress. The period for application is
closed since 25 April.
- Landscape Europe supports the congress with a number of
travel funds for European participants
- CTA has been asked to support travel of participants from
ACP countries
- IALE supports the congress with a number of travel funds
for young scientists from developing countries (non ACP)
- We are exploring more possibilities
The following criteria will be used in evaluating the
applications for support:
- The applicant has sent in a full 2 page abstract (oral)
or one page abstract (poster)
- The abstract shows good scientific quality
- The applicant has registered to the congress
- The applicant is an IALE member
- The applicant is a young scientist or PhD student
- The applicant can show that he/she has asked for support
but has been turned down/ did not receive enough funds
- The applicant is from one of the target countries for
support (developing countries, eastern Europe)

contributions@iale2007.com. The scientific Committee will judge the applications based on the
